Extended application deadline for Summer Workshops

Due to high interest in ISEPEI summer workshops, we are glad to announce that application deadline has been extended to March 7, 2016. You are welcome to apply for both of our workshops:

1.  Geospatial Technologies and Remote Sensing for Monitoring Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)* in cooperation with UNOOSA, 4-8 July 2016, Budapest
Timely to the recent adoption of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, this workshop will provide lectures and hands-on sessions for the effective monitoring of a variety of SDGs (e.g. water security, conservation, forestry, urban sustainability) with a focus on geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing. http://isepei.org/geospatial-2016
 
2.  Innovations in Disaster Risk Reduction* in cooperation with UNDP, 11-15 July 2016, Budapest
Based on both UNDP and other DRR expert’s experience, this workshop will highlight recent innovative advances in ICTs and how they are empowering both decision-makers and citizens to play a proactive role in managing disaster risks and providing more effective disaster response. http://isepei.org/innovations-drr-2016
