Dinara Ziganshina
Biography
Dinara Ziganshina is a deputy director at the Scientific Information Centre of Interstate Commission for Water Coordination (SIC ICWC) in Central Asia. Within SIC ICWC she is responsible for legal and international affairs and supervises departments of planning, international relations and capacity building. Dr. Ziganshina earned her law degree from the Tashkent State Institute of Law (Uzbekistan), LL.M. in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from the University of Oregon School of Law (USA) and PhD in International Water Law from the IHP-HELP Centre for Water Law, Policy and Science under the auspice of UNESCO, University of Dundee (UK). She is interested in transboundary water management under climate change uncertainties, water diplomacy, and international law.
